A man from Hyderabad shared his frustrating experience with rising cab fares in the city. His post on Reddit caught attention after he revealed how multiple cab drivers quoted shockingly high prices when he tried to book a ride to the airport early in the morning.

The user explained that he had a 7 AM flight today, October 28, and booked a cab around 4 AM to reach the airport. But things didn’t go as expected.

‘The Driver Asked For Rs 5,000’

In his Reddit post, the user wrote, “Anyone else facing crazy cab prices to Hyderabad airport early in the morning? I had a flight at 7 AM today. I booked a cab at 4:00 in the morning. The cab driver called and asked where I was headed. I told him, ‘Airport.’ He sounded surprised and then said, ‘Give some extra accordingly.’
