Former England cricketer Chris Broad has alleged that India are ruling the International Cricket Council. In an explosive interview with The Telegraph, Broad said that people in power asked him to make exceptions for India during the time he functioned as a match referee.

Broad, one of the most respected officials in the game, stepped away from his position in 2024. Broad back then had alleged that the ICC denied him an opportunity to continue. In his latest interview, Broad has alleged that he was once asked not to hand India an over-rate fine despite the team bowling 3–4 overs behind the stipulated time.
