Iridium Communications Inc. has announced a miniature, application-specific integrated circuit, the Iridium PNT ASIC, designed to safeguard a wide range of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) devices from jamming, spoofing, and timing disruptions. The ASIC is intended for integration into consumer, industrial, and government equipment, delivering pole-to-pole authenticated positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) data from the Iridium satellite network.
