From 1 November 2025, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), approved rule means that only commercial vehicles with BS-VI compliance, or those running on CNG, LNG or electric power, can enter the national capital region of Delhi.
If your goods-vehicle is registered outside Delhi and is using an older emission-norm engine (pre-BS-VI), you’ll no longer be able to drive it into the city from that date.
WHAT IS CHANGING
Any commercial goods vehicle (light, medium or heavy) registered outside Delhi must be BS-VI compliant or use cleaner fuels (CNG, LNG, EV) to gain entry from 1 November.
The rule does not apply to commercial vehicles registered within Delhi.
