Gerhard Struber has explained that he felt Olly Thomas "could be a really good fit" in his Bristol City team after watching him play for the Robins' Under-21s, with both his work inside the penalty area and attacking runs impressing the Reds head coach.

Thomas made his City debut as a second-half substitute in Struber's side's 1-0 win over Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon, when he replaced Scott Twine in the closing exchanges.
