Executive Chairman of Hancock Prospecting Gina Rinehart has urged students to “apply critical thinking” and resist “propaganda”, warning that excessive regulation, wasteful government spending, and net zero energy policies are driving the nation towards economic decline.
In a wide-ranging speech to the Echo-UNSW Economics Forum today, Mrs Rinehart said young Australians would be left to bear the consequences of what she called “poorly considered government policies” and a “government-caused national energy crisis”.
“How can students get to the cost of net zero and scientific truth? I'd suggest question and question, then apply critical thinking,” she told the audience in a video message.
