That’s exactly what happened to an Australian Shepherd mix in Denver, Colorado.

A nearby home’s surveillance camera captured the moment, leaving neighbors stunned and deeply saddened.

A Cruel Act Caught On Camera

Rane Jaresh, a Colorado-based photographer, noticed a dog nervously pacing outside his home . When he tried to approach, the frightened pup darted away.

But Rane wasn’t ready to give up.

He returned inside, grabbed some treats and water, and came back out to try again.
