John Middleton has revealed what lies ahead for his Hollyoaks character Froggy Black.

The former Emmerdale actor made his first appearance on the Channel 4 soap earlier this year as the jailbird grandfather of Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix).

Since his release from prison, Froggy has been seeking revenge on Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) for having an affair with his wife many years ago.

It has since emerged that Froggy forced Mick out of Liverpool decades ago, leading to Mick faking his death and starting a new life as police detective Donny.

Mick's daughter, Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry), was shocked to discover her father is still alive, but it has since been disclosed that she's secretly working for Froggy in an attempt to permanently remove Donny, report
