Josh Giddey has won Boomers bragging rights over out-of-sorts Australian teammate Dyson Daniels as Chicago pipped Atlanta 128-123 to stay unbeaten this NBA season.

The Bulls improved to 3-0 for the first time in four years behind guard Giddey's (18 points, 13 rebounds, five assists) offensive punch and desperate rebounding.

Daniels (seven rebounds, three steals, two assists, two points), fresh off a most-improved player campaign and statistically-historic breakout NBA season, shot one-of-eight and had a costly late turnover as the Hawks fell to 1-3.

The Australians, facing each other for the first time since both signing $154 million off-season contract extensions, regularly matched up on each other in Chicago on Tuesday (AEST).
