MENTOR, Ohio (WOIO) - A Euclid High School football coach was injured during an argument at Friday night’s football game at Mentor High School.
The Euclid High School Panthers took on the Mentor High School Cardinals in the last regular game of the season.
According to officials, a couple of minutes before half-time, a fight broke out in front of the Euclid team bench.
A coach trying to break it up, was accidentally hit in the head with a helmet.
Mentor EMS transported him to a local hospital for evaluation.
The Cardinals beat the Panthers 31-0. The Cardinals finished the regular season with a perfect record.
