LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Our first round of rain is winding down after soaking parts of the state with one to two inches of rainfall. Now the main event is getting ready to take center stage just in time for the days leading up to Halloween, and it’s set to bring a fair amount of “ugly” before we clean things up for the holiday itself.
A few showers may linger early today, but most areas will catch a break through the afternoon. By late day, rain begins to ramp up again across western Kentucky and spreads eastward overnight, bringing another round of heavy rain. Wednesday looks to be a messy day statewide as widespread rain and gusty winds sweep through.
