Thank you to the Shock Art Project in Longmont that paints utility boxes across the city. I am enjoying the newly painted funny farm box on Airport Road near the railroad tracks north of Ninth Avenue.

• The airport issues have a broader impact than those that live near the airport, because all residents of Longmont are paying taxes that subsidize the free use of the airport by flight schools in other cities. Low-flying planes interrupt the enjoyment of Rogers Grove and Golden Ponds. Pay attention when you are outside of Home Depot, Target or King Soopers, and you will experience noisy planes flying too low for yourself.
