Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) has joined forces with Swan Defence and Heavy Industries to collaboratively design and build Landing Platform Docks (LPDs) for the Indian Navy. This partnership aims to bolster the navy's capabilities in amphibious operations and humanitarian missions.

The Defence Acquisition Council recently sanctioned the procurement of LPDs, marking a crucial enhancement for the Navy. Swan Defence highlights the synergy of MDL's design expertise and the largest shipbuilding infrastructure they provide to construct these vessels.
