Trading on the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) resumed at 1:25pm on Tuesday after being delayed for several hours due to a technical issue earlier in the day, the Exchange says in an official statement.
The Exchange says operations were shifted to its disaster recovery (DR) site - a backup system designed to maintain continuity during operational disruptions - and that all trading systems are now functioning normally.
"Due to a technical issue at the Exchange, the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, was delayed. Operations were shifted to the DR site, and trading started at 1:25pm. All trading systems are now functioning normally," MCX says in its release.
