George Springer has played hero for the Toronto Blue Jays this postseason with the home run in Game 7 of the ALCS to help send the franchise to the World Series.
But he also took a pitch to the knee during that series and played through it. And in the epic 18-inning Game 3 of the 2025 World Series, he left in the middle of an at-bat in the seventh inning, wincing after a swing.
Per Jays manager John Schneider, he's got "right side discomfort" and was sent for an MRI.
Will he play in Game 4? We don't know yet. Stay tuned.
We'll update this when we know more.
