Emergency services remain on a residential street in Bishopbriggs after a car crashed into a property earlier this morning.

At around 6am this morning (October 28) on Auchinairn Road a white Toyota ploughed into the front of the property in a shocking collision.

A video taken at the scene shows the extent of damage, with the front door caved in and bricks strewn across the vehicle involved.

A police cordon remains around the home. The road, which runs along the boundary between Glasgow and West Dunbartonshire, has been closed to allow for investigations.

It is understood that no serious injuries were reported.
