Former Fianna Fáil TD for Galway West, Eamon Ó Cúiv has said he has not made a decision “one way or the other” about running in the by-election for the area.

The victory of Catherine Connolly in the presidential election last week will now mean a by-election will have to take place within six months of Ms Connolly taking up her new role next month.
