Former India cricketer Saba Karim believes Australia will be uneasy about taking on India in the upcoming Women’s World Cup 2025 semifinal. He suggested that Harmanpreet Kaur’s team has the ability to topple the defending champions in a high-pressure knockout clash.

India are set to face Australia in the second semifinal on Thursday, October 30, in Navi Mumbai. The first semifinal, between England and South Africa, will take place a day earlier in Guwahati.

In a recent interaction, Karim said, “Australia have maintained a clear edge over other teams, but if I were in their camp, I’d be nervous about playing India in a knockout match. India can genuinely challenge them.”
