This week, the Queen Máxima and King Willem of the Netherlands, together with their daughter Princess Amalia , celebrated the 750th anniversary of the city of Amsterdam in style. To honor this commemorative year, a concert was organized at the Museumplein—where different artists performed throughout the evening. Before enjoying the music, the King, Queen, and Princess of the Netherlands chatted with several citizens of the city who have made outstanding contributions this year, from scientists to artists, dancers and young soccer players.
To further cement their deference to culture and history, Princess Amalia wore a beaded green gown that her grandmother, Princess Beatrix , now age 87, has worn on official engagements. The then-queen wore the Theresia Vreugdenhil design
