Hamblen County’s first responders gathered Saturday night at Cherokee Park to share a spooky good time with the community they serve by handing out candy, lighting up the sky lights and putting on fun costumes over their uniforms.

Morristown-Hamblen EMS Paramedic Brandy Scrivani was inspired to organize the event, called a “Trick or Trunk”, and brought the idea to peers who encouraged her to bring it to life; the smiles on the faces of the costumed kiddos brought a joy to the fields of the park as they met the real life heroes that protect and serve Hamblen County.
