KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A man from Michigan was arrested in Kanawha County following a high-speed pursuit late Monday night, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident started on October 27 when the Charleston Police Department issued a “be on the lookout,” or BOLO, for a Ford F-250 that had been driving the wrong way on a one-way street and nearly hit a Charleston Police cruiser, deputies said.
The driver fled outside city limits when officers tried to stop the vehicle, deputies said.
Deputies from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office took over the search for the vehicle, which ended when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed near mile marker 76 on the West Virginia Turnpike.
