Plans are underway to build a new tower at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital by 2030.

Corewell Health announced Tuesday, Oct. 28, that it plans to build the new tower to expand the hospital's bed count by 94 beds while increasing the number of private rooms. Specifically, the expansion project would grow the total beds at the Troy hospital to 624 and the percentage of private rooms to 72% from 40%, according to a news release.
