Having been ousted of Tata Trusts, Mehli Mistry is likely to take legal recourse sources said, in a throwback to the ugly legal battle that ensued when Ratan Tata had removed Cyrus Mistry as the chairman of Tata Sons.
Mistry however has the tough task to prove that the decision to vote him out was procedurally flawed, arbitrary or contrary to the Trust’s governing documents, said legal experts.
