Each lot will cost more than $1 million in a planned high-end subdivision in southwest Marion County. On Oct. 27, the county's Planning and Zoning Commission moved that project one step closer to approval.

The commission recommended approval of a zoning change needed for the subdivision, planned for the Drake Ranch land off State Road 200 just north of the Withlacoochee River near the Citrus/Sumter county boundaries.
