INDIANAPOLIS — Two people are in the hospital after a reported stabbing on Indy's east side.

Indianapolis Metro police officers were called just after 10:45 a.m. Tuesday to the 1600 block of Englewood Drive on report of a person stabbed. This is a residential area near 16th Street and Shadeland Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly found two victims suffering from "injuries consistent with trauma." Both people were taken to local hospitals, with one being listed in critical condition and the other being listed in stable.

No other information was immediately provided by police. This is a developing story.
