Paul Thomas Anderson’s big-budget action epic “ One Battle After Another ” leads this year’s Gotham Awards nominations with six mentions, including best feature and acting nods for Benicio Del Toro, Teyana Taylor and breakthrough performer Chase Infiniti.

This marks the third year since the organization removed the limit on budget caps for awards consideration. In previous years, to be eligible for the Gothams, a film’s budget couldn’t exceed $35 million. Past best feature winners have included “Spotlight” (2015), “Moonlight” (2016) and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” (2022), all of which went on to win best picture at the Oscars.
