MAGA Republicans have urgently called on Attorney General Pam Bondi to take action against New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani (D) before he can be elected.

In a letter to Bondi on Tuesday, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) insisted that Mamdani "should be subject to denaturalization proceedings," alleging that the candidate had issued "public praise for individuals convicted of providing material support to Hamas."

Ogles then took his campaign to have Mamdani deported to MAGA influencer Steve Bannon's War Room program.

"You're not so sure he's an American citizen," Bannon noted.

"Yeah, I mean, when you look, I mean, literally, you know, I have a copy of like the forms that you would fill out," Ogles said, "and if you don't fully disclose in your naturalization forms, you know, your past associations, anti-American leanings, etc., they can revoke your citizenship."

"Although it's in the kind of the 11th hour, I think there is the opportunity to review his status, to look at his forms, to see that he was actually aligned with the communist Marxist organization that's very anti-American that would have disqualified him from being a citizen," he continued. "Therefore, they could revoke it and send his butt back to Uganda."

Ogles noted that he was trying to create a "sense of urgency" because Mamdani's win would be "disastrous."

"We're going to be in touch with some DOJ officials, so we'll make sure," Bannon insisted. "I think they should do it and put it on notification that it's under review at minimum before election day."

"So people in New York understand the guy you're voting for may not be able to hold the office," he added. "But in any case, shortly after election day, if they haven't had a chance to get to it all, they've got to revoke his citizenship because he lied about it."
