BARBOURVILLE — Mental health professionals, educators and community leaders came together Thursday at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College’s Knox Campus for a Regional Suicide Prevention Summit aimed at strengthening awareness and training across southeastern Kentucky.
The gathering served as part of an ongoing statewide effort to promote access to evidence-based suicide prevention resources, including QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), a free online program available to every Kentuckian through UK HealthCare’s Healthy Kentucky Initiative.
