CLEMSON — Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney said quarterback Cade Klubnik practiced on Oct. 27 ahead of facing Duke in Week 10.
"He did everything we asked him to do," Swinney said Oct. 28.
Swinney didn't say if Klubnik practiced fully or was limited ahead of Clemson (3-4, 2-3 ACC) hosting Duke (4-3, 3-1) on Nov. 1 (noon ET, ACC Network) at Memorial Stadium.
Klubnik suffered a right ankle sprain against Boston College on Oct. 11. He missed his first career game against SMU on Oct. 18 after entering the matchup as questionable then a game-time decision.
Third-year backup Christopher Vizzina replaced him, marking the first time since 2014 that a Clemson starting quarterback missed a game because of injury.
