WACO, Texas — We've been talking about it for a few days, but our cold front finally arrived and brought some strong winds to town with it. Given that this is the week of Halloween, most people have their yards decorated, and if you're not careful, those decorations could end up down the street!

Temperatures turning cooler soon

Winds turned to the north behind the front today, and those winds have sustained around 15-20 mph all day. Some gusts have been clocked as high as 30-35 mph.

Unfortunately, the temperature drop we're waiting for will be a bit delayed. We still reached the 80's in some spots today and most are still in the lower to middle 70's this evening.

Tonight, we'll see temperatures fall into the 50's, but when you factor in those gusty winds, it will FEEL like it's in the
