GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Greenbrier County Commissioner Tammy Tincher announced her resignation from the commission during Tuesday morning’s regular meeting, effective November 3, 2025.
Tincher, who has served on the commission since 2018, said she has accepted a position with the National Association of Counties.
“I just wanted to make the official announcement that November the 3rd will be my final day as a county commissioner, and I will be stepping down from this seat, as I have been given an opportunity to go to the National Association of Counties and be able to work and serve counties across the country,” Tincher said.
The commission will appoint a Republican to fill the vacant position until the 2026 General Election.
