Three juveniles and an 18-year-old were arrested after police say they pulled them over in a stolen vehicle in Westport where officers allegedly found a “ghost gun.”
Police were alerted that the stolen vehicle was being driven in the Saugatuck section of Westport at 8:52 p.m. when a license plate reader picked up on it, according to Lt. Anthony Prezioso of the Westport Police Department .
An officer who responded to the area found the vehicle, a Toyota Scion, and began to follow it while the driver headed north on Saugatuck Avenue, Prezioso said. The driver continued at what was described as “normal speeds” as the officer followed behind.
