The city of Greenville is wrapping up the second phase of a master plan reviewing downtown transportation needs.

Phase two of the Downtown Transportation Master Plan identifies potential projects to enhance traffic flow, reduce congestion, improve safety, and promote alternative modes of transportation within Greenville’s growing downtown area.

“We’re studying all things transportation, whether it’s vehicular transportation, bicycle pedestrian, multimodal transportation, looking at not only existing conditions but looking 20 years into the future,” said Clint Link, director of the city’s engineering services.
