Noteworthy : The La Serna senior quarterback delivered in the first two rounds of the CIF Southern Section Division 3 flag football playoffs to lead the Lancers to the quarterfinals. Baruch opened the playoffs throwing for 79 yards and two touchdowns, and rushing for 86 yards in a 19-7 win over Mira Costa. In the second round, she took over. Baruch completed 17 of 32 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for a team-high 47 yards in a 20-13 victory over Foothill. The Lancers hope to advance to the semifinals when they host Sunny Hills on Tuesday night.
