CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Fortune 500 insurance company is expanding to Charlotte, North Carolina, Governor Josh Stein announced Tuesday.

Pacific Life Insurance Company will open a new office in the Queen City, creating 301 jobs. The company is expected to invest $12.3 million in Mecklenburg County.
