Anthony Hopkins claimed his estranged daughter, Abigail Hopkins, has ignored an invitation to reconcile.

“My wife, Stella [Arroyave], sent an invitation [to Abigail] to come and see us,” the “Silence of the Lambs” actor said in an interview with the New York Times .

“Not a word of response. So I think, ‘OK, fine.’ I wish her well, but I’m not going to waste blood over that. If you want to waste your life being in resentment, fine, go ahead,” he added.

Anthony — who shares daughter Abigail, 57, with first wife Petronella Barker — said he attempts not to carry “resentment over the past” because that is “death.”
