This plot and this cast honestly sounds like an absolute hoot. Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson crooning Neil Diamond covers? Sign me up. However — and I will not spoil you — the Wikipedia synopsis of the plot is NOT funny and sounds quite serious. Having said that, Deadline loved it and I think we as a nation are ready for Kate Hudson to come back as an actor rather than someone trying to sell us a leggings subscription.
