New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered immediate ‘forceful strikes’ in the Gaza Strip, accusing Hamas of violating the ceasefire on Tuesday, October 28.

The command came amid renewed rising tensions between Israel and Hamas as Israel accused Hamas of firing on its forces in southern Gaza, following Hamas’s return of a set of remains of a hostage killed in the war.

The Israeli prime minister saw the move as a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.
