CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Notre Dame Regional High School plans to launch a football program.

According to a news release from the school, the program will begin with a junior varsity team in fall 2027, followed by a varsity team in fall 2028.

They say they will also establish a marching band by 2028.

“This is an exciting time for Notre Dame,” said Athletic Director Jeff Graviett. “Adding football to our already outstanding athletic program will bring new energy to campus and create more opportunities for student involvement.”

Notre Dame Regional High School has 22 sports and 19 team state championships.
