ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Businessman and philanthropist Tom Golisano announced the formation of the Golisano Children's Alliance.

He explains that the Golisano Children's Alliance is a collaboration between children's hospitals bearing his name. He says the hospitals will elevate pediatric care by expanding services, strengthening collaboration, and ensuring children have access to quality care.

Furthermore, he announced he will donate $253 million to six new partner hospitals joining the alliance and incorporating Golisano into their name. The hospitals are: • Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut (received $50 million) • Penn State Health Children's Hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania (received $50 million) • University of Vermont Children's Hospital in Bur
