DENVER (KDVR) — The world's largest passenger aircraft, known as the "Airbus," took off from Denver for the last time this year — but don't worry, the more than a million-pound plane will be back soon at the Denver International Airport.
The Airbus gained local popularity in January after Lufthansa German Airlines announced Airbus flights between Denver and Munich Airport. This service took place through the spring and into the fall, operating nearly 350 flights before its last flight from DIA on Friday.
The double-decker plane's last flight in Denver didn't last long, as Lufthansa announced on Tuesday that it would be returning to DIA with more Airbus flights to and from the Munich Airport. • Lufthansa airplane parked on the tarmac near distinctive white terminal buildings with curved
