A man was stabbed multiple times in a parking lot in Chesterfield County, according to the Chesterfield County Police, and a suspect is in custody.

Around 5:48 a.m. Oct. 28, police arrived to the scene of the stabbing, where they found the adult male victim on the 15700 block of Woods Edge Road.

According to police, the suspect, while leaving the scene in the victim's vehicle, struck another vehicle and then fled the scene. No injuries have been reported in that crash.
