At least 11 people have died after a plane carrying foreign tourists crashed on Tuesday in Kenya en route to a national park amid heavy rain. The small plane crashed and burst into flames in a hilly and wooded area about 25 miles from the popular coastal resort of Diani, authorities in the East African nation said. Witnesses heard a loud bang and found the charred wreckage, along with unrecognizable human remains, at the scene of the crash.
