DULUTH, Min. & ST. PAUL, Min – Last week Target announced they would be announcing future layoffs.

On October 28, 2025, a report to the state of Minnesota’s Employment and Economic Development Department explained the initial lay offs.

Approximately 528 employees will be laid off from it’s facility located at 1000 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403.

And approximately 287 employees will be laid off from it’s facility located at 7000 Target Pkwy., Brooklyn Park, MN 55445

According to the notice to the state, employees will be permanently laid off beginning January 3, 2026.
