MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - Vickie Sanders with the Animal Aid Humane Society introduces the audience to Minnie.

Sanders said a man walked in to surrender 1-year-old Minnie due to her owner being evicted and no longer able to care for her.

Minnie is a purring machine and a big cuddler.

Building and Moving Project

The shelter will soon be located in Milan across from UPS. Sanders said they are asking skilled volunteers to donate their time to help finish the project.

How to adopt

To adopt from the Animal Aid Humane Society, call the shelter.

The shelter is open 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday to show the pets. Showings can also be after hours and Sundays by appointment.
