Work Out West will host a chili cook off fundraiser Saturday to benefit a 36-year-old father diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer earlier this year.

The event run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will cost $20, with all admission fees and other donations going to Ben Sampson’s family, according to a Work Out West news release. The cook off will start at 2 p.m.

Sampson was diagnosed March 12 with a Class 4 4 glioneuronal tumor.

“Ben, his wife Vanessa and children Akayden, Zeke, Loki and Aksel have been hit hard,” the Facebook post read.

There will be bounce houses for children, as well as specialty classes offered throughout the day, including: • 8:30 a.m.: Spin class with Laci • 9:30 a.m.: Dream Cycle class with Dolly • 11 a.m.: Dream Circuit class with Dolly.
