Monkey business is reportedly taking place in south Mississippi, according to law enforcement.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Department reported Tuesday afternoon that a truck hauling an unspecified species of monkeys to a testing facility in Florida has overturned near the 117-mile marker north of Heidelberg. Officials say several monkeys are on the loose.

Members of the public are urged not to make contact with the monkeys if one is spotted, as the primates pose potential health threats and are believed to be aggressive.

If one comes in contact with a stray monkey, the individual is asked to call 911 immediately.
