Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–There is officially another candidate in the race for the Governor’s Office. Tuesday Democratic State Representative Jermaine Johnson announced he is running for the state’s top office. Johnson is currently representing District 52 which includes parts of Kershaw and Richland Counties. Johnson is the second Democrat to enter the race along with attorney Mullins McLeod. The South Carolina gubernatorial election is November 3-rd of next year.
