A recall was issued for 3M thermal laminators because of an overheating problem that may pose a burn risk.

Approximately 13,440 laminators have been recalled and so far, there are no reports of consumers being injured as a result of using the laminators, according to a Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice.

Which thermal laminators are part of the recall?

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the Scotch™ Thermal Laminator, model TL909-50 , is light gray and white with gray accents, and the word "Scotch" is printed in gray on the front.

Additionally, the laminating slot is 9 inches wide, with a model and serial number located on a sticker on the bottom of the laminator.
