The inaugural Partners in Pink Golf Tournament, held on October 9, was a swinging success, raising just over $64,000 net in support of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) Foundation.
Hosted at Wellington Golf Course, the sold-out event welcomed 18 teams and 72 golfers for a day filled with camaraderie, community spirit, and a commitment to advancing local health care. Proceeds from the tournament will support the purchase of a new digital mammography machine for the new County hospital — an essential diagnostic tool for early breast cancer detection. The current unit, in use for more than 12 years, is nearing end-of-life, and replacement is estimated to cost nearly $1 million.
Breast cancer touches so many lives, and it was wonderful to hear heartfelt stories from players
